Lake Albacutya fills about once every 20 years, is currently dry and salt bush is flourishing.
Dispersed bush camping is permitted around the lake but tracks are sandy and may require 4-wheel drive.
Birds are prolific. Scarlet cockatoos, black crows, kangaroos and emus are common.
Nature study, bush walking, 4 wheel touring, hunting (duck, fox, rabbit)
Swimming, canoeing, fishing, sailing (when lake fills)
Can be hot and dry in summer. Winter nights can be cold. Wasps may be present.
