About Avon Valley National Park

Well known for its white water river, this National Park also has some beautiful walks and scenery.

The Avon River is the Jewel in the crown of this park, with its spectacular and often challenging white water in the winter and beautiful swimming holes and tranquil pools during summer.

There is also an interesting contrast in the lanscape between the Jarrah, Marri and Powder Bark country and the lower areas in which the Wandoo predominate.

Being within an hours (about 80 km north east) drive from Perth makes this a great weekend get away for those in need of a nature fix.

Entry Fees Entry fees apply for this park. Check the link below for the current fees.
