Cape Hillsborough Nature Tourist Park

Last Updated Jan 2016

Beachfront park in natural setting with a choice of powered and powered sites or cabins.

There is beach access for boats adjacent to the park entrance and the waters are protected by the outer islands.

The park features a large pool with water features for the kids. The barbecue area and picnic tables are well set out and a tv room is available to guests.

There are a number of drive through sites or beach front sites (check with management). Most sites are well shaded and the park has a great bush feel, with plenty of surrounding native woodland and mature trees throughout the park for shade.

No campfires are permitted in the park, and due to being in a National Park, no pets are allowed.

Park Management Comments

Located less than an hour from the north Queensland hub of Mackay and with absolute beach frontage our unique property offers the best of both worlds. Wake up to see kangaroos on their morning beach hop and keep an eye open for turtle and whale sightings during migration season.
