Large Caravan and Camping ground (in excess of 200 camp sites) on the banks of the Macleay River. Suitable for anything from tents to big rigs.
They have powered and unpowered sites. They also have motels, cabins and houses.
The facility is owned by the Seventh Day Adventist church, but is open to the general public. They do have a no smoking and no drinking policy.
The grounds are large with large flat grassy sites.
They do allow pets in off peak season and they seem to have a camp fire site.
Park Management Comments
The Stuarts Point Convention Centre is nestled on the banks of the magnificent Macleay River. It is surrounded by beautiful beaches and bushland that all nature lovers will enjoy.
If you like fishing then you have the choice of rock, beach, river and blue-water fishing spots. Water skiing enthusiasts can enjoy the waterway behind the Centre. But if relaxing on the beach is more your thing then the many surrounding beaches will not disappoint you.
Overnighters, tourists and groups are all welcome.
