Basic bush camping on the Burnett River

The causeway here gets closed quite regularly when there is heavy rain, so if the weather looks bad, make sure you have a backup campsite.

There are some grassy areas and it is usually well maintained (presumably by the grazing cows). There are no facilities here at all, just a nice litle spot on the river. Have a look around for a spot that suits you, there are no designated sites.
