A large, sand and grass camping area, one of the first camping spots when entering Inskip peninsula.
This campground is on a narrow section of the peninsula so there is only a short walk to both sides (the Pacific Ocean one way and Pelican Bay on the other).
The S.S. Dorrigo campground is protected from the wind a little by the low dunes on the ocean side and the scattered casurinas throughout the camp sites.
This is primarily a 4wd access only campground although there are a couple of sites closer to the main road that you can get into. If you are in a 4wd you can also access the beach. Head back out of the campground and turn south, the entrance is short distance away.
Dogs are allowed at this campground if kept on a leash. See the nprsr website for more information
