Nice open and grassy campground in Amamoor State Forest. Suitable for caravans.
This is a very popular campground and has recently been tidied up after the floods, and is now quite attractive.
Nice spot for birdwatching and bushwalking through the huge red cedar trees, riverine rainforest and swimming in Amamoor Creek.
There are toilets, water (pumped from the creek so needs treating before drinking) and fire places (bring your own firewood).
The campground is very open, so not a lot of privacy from other campers but god for the kids as there is plenty of open grass.
