Very basic camping on the NSW/QLD border, on the Dumaresq River.
The best camping area in on the NSW side of the bridge, and has fairly easy access, suitable for 2wd and camper trailers.
There are no facilities here at all so you will need to bring water, firewood and be self contained. Nice little spot and very quiet, even though it is near the road.
Suitable for launching kayaks for poking around the river (depending on water level).
Fishing for cod and yellow belly, however remember that you are on the NSW/QLD border so it is advised you have a NSW fishing licence just in case.
