Boorkoom Campground

Camp right on the edge of the coast near a rocky outcrop and direct access to some of the most un-spoilt beaches in NSW.
A great spot for the angler or surfer, with a variety of land forms along the coast with rocky headlands, arching beaches and quite often a good swell.
The campground is a short walk in from the carpark, and once there, a lot of the park is available to you just by following the beach north or south.
Large vans may have a problem here, the sites are not large.
Walking
The Wilsons Headland Walking track starts at the campground. It is an easy grade, 6km return walk that follows the coastline with excellent views out to sea. Allow plenty of time for the walk as there are seats along the trail where you can relax and watch out to sea. Whales can be seen during migrating season.

Location information for Boorkoom
This campsite is in Yuraygir National Park
A large, unspoiled and undeveloped stretch of coastline makes this a great area for those who like to get some sand between their toes without sharing the space with cafes and pubs.
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
Head East on Eight Mile Lane (about 12 km south of Grafton on the Pacific Highway) Follow this road for about 30km and take a left into Dggers Camp Road. The campground is another 7km along this road. -
