Several acres of mainly dirt, and an area of gravel beside the bore bath pool.
The gravel area is large enough to accommodate a dozen or so caravans. Two electric BBQs and covered tables. Two flushing toilets and a rain water tank.
The campground is situated beside the sealed Pilliga road about an hours drive from Wee Waa and 5 minutes from the small town of Pilliga.
Fees are $5 per vehicle per night payable at the only shop/cafe in town which also sells meals.
Fires are permitted but there are no formed fireplaces. Bring your own wood essential.
If camping on the dirt its advised to pack up and move when wet weather is certain as the ground floods and gets boggy quickly.
Very busy with grey nomads during the cooler months but plenty of space to have a spot to yourself. The bore bath is well maintained and although the campground is not fancy it's a pleasant and relaxing experience.
Numerous sites available.
