Well maintained campground on the beautiful Namoi River in Warrabah National Park, with a choice of open group camping spots or more secluded sites with picnic tables and fire places.
There are a number of sites here with one large area especially for group camping. The day use picnic area means this part of the park is popular on warm weekends as the river has some lovely swimming holes.
I have introduced a few friends to camping at this spot and being so close to the water was definitely a positive during the midday heat.

Being one of the few inland parks in NSW that has access to a large river makes Warrabah a great spot for warm weather. The picnic area and most of the camping areas are within a stones throw of the water, which has some great swimming holes.
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
The main access to the park is from Manilla (approximately 37km). About 500m west of the bridge, the road leads off the highway to the north. There are a couple of turns that are well signed.
Most of the way is well maintained dirt road, but can get less pleasant in the rain. It is possible to get to the main camping area in a 2wd however some of the sites require 4wd
