Set in native bush, in the Perth Hills, on the edge of Lake Leschenaultia, with hot showers, washing machines and excellent barbecue facilities (caravans not permitted).
The campground is a very popular family destination near Perth however there are a large number of wide open campsites so you don't feel like you are in a caravan park. The dam is open all year round and entry is free for day visitors.
There is a well maintained amenities block with hot showers, washing machines, clothes dryers and disabled access. There is also a childrens playground.

The 3km walk around the lake offers the chance to see numerous species of native birds, kangaroos, possums or echidnas. There area also an additional 10kms of walking/mountain biking trails available.
This campground also caters to the disabled with a cleverly designed wheel chair that can be pushed over the sand and directly into the water. Some locations might offer those in a wheel chair access to toilets or tracks, but I have never seen one that offers this option!
