Closest campground to the 12 apostles with powered and un-powered sites, hot showers, and free barbecues.
The Princetown Recreation Reserve and Camping is located 6km east of the 12 Apostles, adjacent the Gellibrand River. It is the perfect central base for sightseeing along the Great Ocean Road. The 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Melba Gully, Port Campbell and Otway National Parks, The Otway Fly, G.O.R.G.E Chocolates and the Great Ocean Walk are all within a few kilometres of the Reserve. Fishing Hiking and canoeing are just a few of the activities that are enjoyed by people who camp at the Princetown Recreation Reserve.

The water at the park is bore water, so should be treated if you are going to drink it (boil it for 15 minutes or use a filter).
Fires must only be made in raised fire bins, firewood is available from the shop before dark.

Non-potable water may be available. Boil all water for at least 10 minutes before drinking.
There are no built fireplaces in this camp ground, however it may be permisable to have a camp fire under certain conditions. Please check local fire restrictions and rules before lighting fires.
Wood barbeques are available. Bring firewood and check firebans.
This campsite is near a river or creek that has swimming holes.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
Access is suitable for 2wd vehicles and caravans however there is a 15 tonne load limit on the bridge to the Princetown Recreation
