Black Swamp Campground

Last Updated Mar 2018

High country camping for nature lovers who don`t mind walking to their campsite.

Accessed from Aeroplane Hill Walking track, this is a great base camp for the true nature loving hiker.

Exploring the remnants of the Gondwana rainforest with Antartic Beach and sub-alpine wetland are some of the highlights.

The high altitude and low levels of light pollution mean this is a great spot to star gaze but it also makes for very chilly nights in the cooler months.
