Near the beach on the Aire river, this is a large campground suitable of caravans or tent based camping.
This is a grassy and shady campsite and tends to be a little quieter than the Western Campground.
This is also a good spot for basing for a kayaking trip as you can easily launch from the nearby bridge.
There is no water available, so make sure you bring your own. Fires are also not permitted here, so make sure you have your fuel stove for cooking.
