A large flat and grassy campground on the Western Side of the Aire River suitable for large groups and caravans.
The nearby boat ramp makes launching a canoe nice and easy and this is a great spot to base for a kayak fishing trip. You can paddle all the way up to Lake Craven or south to the ocean.
There is a also a fairly easy 4.2km walk (Aire River Escarpment Walk) that takes in some interesting coastal scrub, wetlands and ends in a lookout with excellent views over the ocean.
