This is a well maintained and formalised campground right on the ocean in Great Otway National Park
There are 22 individual sites and a day use area. There is water available, a communal fireplace and a boat launching area. All this within a stones throw of the Bass Straight.
There is good fishing to be had off the beach, as well as miles of walking along the coast.
This campground forms part of the Great Ocean Walk, however hikers access different campsites (the hikers campsites are not free and must be booked in advance).

Great Otway is a wonderfully diverse coastal National Park, stretching between Torquay and Princetown in Victoria.
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
Blanket Bay campground is accessed off the Otway Lighthouse Road off the Great Ocean Road. The turn off into Otway Lighthouse Road is about 17km west from Marengo in Victoria. Once on Otway Lighouse Road, follow for about 9km and follow the sigs onto Blanket Bay Road. The campground is anoth 6km further at the end of this road.
