This is a basic, but large and grassy, campground on the banks of the MacQuarie River, near Dubbo.
The campground itself is moderately sloping and fairly open, although there are a couple of larger trees near the edges for shade. There is a new toilet block that council has just put up, so it is likely to make the spot a bit more popular.
Access to the river is pretty good for fishing or launching a canoe, so would make a great spot for a kayak fishing base.
