Basic Bush camping right on the Murray River within Lane Pool Reserve (near Dwellingup WA)
This campground is best suited to those chasing a bit more privacy, as large groups aren't accommodated (each campsite will fit a maximum of two cars).
You can fish from the river, just a short walk from the campsites but note you need a fishing license from Fisheries WA and bag limits and season closures apply.
There is a wooden platform with steps leading down into the water which makes for easy access for a swim, or launching a kayak. If you do take your kayak, you are in for a treat as this is sectio of the river is quite beautiful, try trolling a lure behind you as well, you just might snag a redfin.
Firewood can't be collected in the park, so make sure you bring your own if you want to use the BBQ pits.
