A pleasant but popular foreshore camp, well shaded by banksia and Manna Gum over sand with some short grass.
Sites are informally scattered, most with some scrub between. Overhanging branches on some sites and sandy access tracks may restrict big rigs.
Rated 3.8/5
Wrens, honeyeaters, rosellas, whipbirds and gulls are common . Koalas, echidnas and wombats may be seen.
No firewood collection permitted (and none nearby). Parks Vic is considering banning wood fires and may close the boat ramp. Bookings may be required. Ranger on-site for 6 months per year.
