A large, open campground on the western side of the Yorke Penninsular, South Australia
This is fairly popular spot, and area is fairly open, so you may be looking at the campers next to you. It is a fairly large area though, and the ground has a little grass cover, so is suitable for tents.
This is an access site to the beach for 4WDs over the low, but fairly soft sand dunes. Like a lot of this coastline, you can end up with a lot of seaweed blown up on the beach, which can some times be a little smelly and make fishing less fun.
Pets are allowed, but must be kept under control.
Campfires are allowed outside of Fire Danger Season. Please check the Yorke Peninsula Council website and CFS website for current restrictions.
