Stunning little campground on the Snowy River in Kosciuszko National Park
Great little spot for swimming and fishing if the weather is good. The camp site is beautiful and right on the edge of the Snowy River.
It was empty when we visited so had the whole place to ourselves.
On a short walk I saw five emus and lots of wallabies as well as numerous other native birds.
There are picnic tables and fire pits with swing over barbecue plates, however there is no firewood on site, so you will need to bring your own. Collecting wood in the National Park is not allowed.
Don't forget to bring your camera (like I did) as the sunset over the river is spectacular with the low mountains and cypress pines.
