A pleasant, reasonably large site on grassed creek flats sloping down to the Lima East (Moonee Moonee or Black Charlie) Creek, surrounded by steep forested hills.
Overlooked by the low use forestry road. Some shade is provided by scattered Narrow-leaved Peppermint, Mountain Ash and Blackwood wattle. By late afternoon the entire clearing is shaded by the forested ridge.
The tumbling, cascading nature of the creek precludes swimming but has fish and yabbies.
Toilets are new, the information board has been vandalized and there are only 2 benches and BBQs.
