A number of scattered sites over about 5k on river flats by the wide, shallow, upper Snowy River.
A rain-shadow area, fostering wattle, cypress pine and White Box woodlands. Can be hot in summer.
Remote, quiet camp, pleasant if not too hot/dry.
Similar sites across the boarder in NSW, before the Barry Way climes steeply out of the gorge to Jindabyne.

Access from Buchan: North 56k from Buchan on the Gelantipy Rd [C608], left (north) 41k on the Snowy River Rd [C608],(30k gravel, narrow & twisty beyond Suggan Buggan). Dispersed sites along the river over 5k.
