At 161km in length it is Australia’s longest rail trail for hiking, biking and horse riding.

In the Brisbane valley, large flat grassed area beautifully maintained by the Somerset regional council, there is water, limited power and toilets available. Suitable for caravans, vans, camper trailers, tents. One night maximum stay. Horse yards available. One and a half hours from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. One hour west off the highway at Caboolture. The camping area is free but donations are happily accepted at the towns Memorial Hall.

A beautiful histroric pub across the road offers free hot showers for campers if they are dining at the pub.

The little village of Linville is tiny but beautiful and comprises only of an Historical Queenslander pub, General store, small school, timber mill and Memorial hall. There is a great playground, picnic tables and electric barbeque.
