One of a pair of campgrounds on the Rubicon River in Rubicon State Forest.
There is a walking track between this site and Kendalls (B) Campground
Being only a couple of hours drive from Melbourne, this is a popular pot with 4wders and trail bike riders, however if you bring your hiking boots, there is some amazing scenery to be seen.

There is no charge for camping in Rubicon State Forest
This is a free camping area.
There is no need to book, it does get a bit busy in peak times.
