This is a low cost camping area on a Crown Reserve run by volunteers.
It is approved by the Crown Lands Department and licenced by the Dubbo Regional Council.
It has town water connected and has a toilet and shower block. There are only cold showers. The toilets are cleaned daily and the rubbish bins are emptied daily.
Pets are allowed, but must be supervised at all times.
There is plenty of room for big rigs, buses etc. Dubbo (pop. 45,000) the nearest large town is 38 kms north and Gilgandra (pop. 3,000) is 28 kms south. The village of Eumungerie is only small with a pub (which serves great meals nightly) and a post office (which sells basic groceries like bread, milk etc).
The camping is in a quite spot only one km from the highway. During winter camp fires are permitted and quite often wood is provided.
