Free campsite managed by Cranbrook Shire. On the edge of a large lake near Frankland River.

Very salty these days. Popular skiing area when water levels are high enough.

Composting toilets near campsites, flushing toilets at day use area.

Camping and cooking fires are prohibited within the Shire of Cranbrook from 1 October – 30 April each year or unless written permission has been expressly given by the Shire of Cranbrook as is pursuant with the Bush Fires Act 1954 Section 25.1(a) through to 1(d).

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

13km east of Frankland on Cranbrook Frankland Road. Turn south onto Lake Poorrarecup Road. Proceed on dirt road for 9km. Turn west onto track for 200m to picnic area on lake.
