The Steps of Girrba is a boutique campground for a maximum of 120 people, so you`ll never feel overcrowded.

A riverside holiday destination of spectacular natural beauty at The Steps rapids on the Barrington River at Bindera near Gloucester New South Wales.

Welcome to our little piece of Barrington Tops paradise, not far from Gloucester, New South Wales - basecamp for World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park.

Your accommodation options at The Steps includes riverside campsites scattered across our 15 hectare site, or a contemporary holiday house on the high banks overlooking the Barrington River but out of view from the main campgound.

Camping like it used to be. On the river you'll find plenty of quiet swimming holes for family fun, try the rapids in one of our kayaks, or take to the trails of our cross-country mountain bike park. The surrounding mountain ranges offer many different walks, hikes or mountain bike adventures depending on your age and skill level. Or you can just sit back and listen to the sounds of the Barrington River cascading its way over the famous Steps Rapids while you watch the wallabies graze.
