Free Campground, by the river on the Armidale to Kempey Road.
Large, mostly level and grassy sites, with long drop toilets.
There is a rough boat "boat ramp" which makes launching a canoe, or kayak a little easier.
Not a bad spot for fishing for Bass during the right season.
There is a covered picnic area, with barbecues and a water tank. Don't rely on the tank water as it would need to be treated before drinking.
Bring your own drinking water and firewood.
