A pleasant old sawmill clearing (partially revegetated) sheltered in a forested valley near the bubbling Little River.
There are groups of scattered sites, semi-secluded by bush and distance, designed mainly for car/tent camping, however small caravans and campervans will fit.
Most sites are reasonably well shaded by Peppermint, Blackwood and Red Stringybark.
The valley area is reasonably green and lush although the surrounding rocky hills are clothed in open, dry sclerophyll forest - mainly Peppermint and Red Stringybark.
Popular with school groups and at peak periods. BYO firewood.
Sheltered picnic tables, long drop toilets and fireplaces are provided.
In dry weather, the creek may run dry, so don't rely on it for water. If you do use the creek water, make sure it is treated by boiling before using.
