Samual Bollard Campground

Natural bush campground in Woomargama National park, with a short walk to the campsite.
This campground is just down the road from the entrance to the park, and Tunnel Road Picnic Area.
Covered picnic tables, long drop toilets and fire places are provided. You will need to bring your own firewood.
There is a water tank off the picnic table shelter which had water in it when I was last here, however it would be a good idea to bring plenty of water in case the tank is dry. If you use the water out of the tank, it would be better to boil it first as well.
Lots of wildlife, including wombats, roos and possums as well as echidnas and wallabies.
The (4wd only) trip out to Norths lookout is well worth the effort. Apart from the beautiful drive, you will be rewarded with outstanding view.

Location information for Samual Bollard
4wd only access.
Samual Bollard campground is in the western section of Woomargama National Park. To get there from Albury:
Travel north on Hume Highway
Take the Woomargama exit
Turn right into Tunnel Road and travel about 10km to the park entrance
Turn left onto Tin Mines trail and travel about 2km. On the left is South Creek trail and about 200m up the trail is the campground.
