Very large campground near the beach in Limeburners National Park
Beautiful stretch of beach, great fishing in and near exit of Limeburners Creek.
The campsites are large and grassy (not marked, just open space) with some shade. Protection from the wind by sand dunes (short walk to the beach).
No firewood is provided for the wood barbecues. picnic tables and long drop toilets.
Generators are not permitted, but not sure everyone knows as there were a couple being used.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
Thanks to travellinglumpett for the following directions.
The best way to get to this campsite thats gonna do the least damage to a non 4WD car is to head south from Crescent Head on Point Plomer road, Campsite is well signed and recognisable. Heading north from North Shore (a ferry ride from Port Macquarie) involves a 4WD, we did the trip in a 2001 Subaru Outback that handled ok, but was a little sketchy in parts, Some deep ruts and sand driving.
