A large pleasant area with dispersed sites. Gentle sloping open woodlands extend down to grassed alpine river flats and wooded areas in a broad valley.

Reasonable shade provided by Snow Gums over short alpine grass. Features a tin hut and disintegrating horse yards. Some tracks damaged by 4 wheel drivers and wombats.

Bush walking (Moroka Gorge, 12k return, overnight recommended).

Drive to the Pinnacles (12k), a rocky crag offering one of the most spectacular alpine views: overlooking the Wonnangatta Valley and, on a clear day, Mt Hotham and the Gippsland Lakes

From Licola: North east 46k (27k gravel) on the Tamboritha Rd to Arbuckle Junction, right (east) 30k on the Moroka Rd, left 300m down a rough twisty, gravel track to river flats.
