A well shaded, but basic campground suitable for 2wd vehicles in dry weather. There is access to the Big River in this.
Thanks to Peter for the following updates.
Pleasant dispersed bush camps on forested creek-side flats by the bubbling Big River. Well shaded by Peppermint and Mountain Ash with a dense understory of Tea-tree, wattle, ferns and some grass. Surrounded by steep forested slopes. Rated 4.2/5
Wrens, tree climbers, kookaburras, flies and wallabies are common.
Most sites are separated by bush although access to the most distant is rutted - check if wet. One of 2 BBQs broken.

The gem in this state forest is the heritage classified Big River, however with many kilometers of forest roads, it is a great spot for car/4wd based exploring.
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
Accessible by 2wd vehicles in good weather, however the track can get a bit chopped up in the wet. The access road is off Big River Road in the Upper Big River State Forest.
