Aragunnu Campground

Good selection of campsites, suitable for camper trailers or tents.
One of the more popular and established campgrounds in Mimosa Rocks National Park.
Easy access to the beach, great views, although can get very busy during peak times.
A short boardwalk follows the coast and offers an easy viewing of nature (although to me the beach is a better walking track).
Most of the campsites are level, with a grass base, some are closer to the beach than others, but if you are here out of season, you should still get a choice of sites.
Great spot if you have a stable kayak, as there is a (usually) sheltered beach that is perfect for exploring or kayak fishing.

Lovely area to camp.
The beach is very rocky.
Keep an eye out for Goannas and Possums - store food in car as both animals are hunting for it & will enter Tents!
Campfires are allowed.
During peak season the 'drop' toilets are 'cleaned' - toilet paper restocked and seat wiped down.
Park rangers do visit campsites & take Fee payments.
Some picnic tables can be found along walking tracks - too nice not to sit on the beach though.
Not much shade on the beach so take an umbrella (or improvise).

Location information for Aragunnu
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
Aragunnu campground is located off Aragunnu Road. To get there turn off the Tathra-Bermagui Road onto Aragunnu Road the campground is approximately 3km down the road.
