Basic bush camping, suitable for tents, caravans and camper trailers in Gibraltar Range National Park
This is a beautiful campground, set in amongst the Eucalypt forest. Campsites are mostly level with a dirt and grass surface and have plenty of room. There are no marked sites, but there are open areas with fireplaces and picnic tables.
Fires are permitted in the fireplaces provided. These have swing over hotplates and arms for hanging a billy. Usually milled offcuts are provided by National Parks for firewood.
There are gas barbecues in the adjacent day use area as well
There is a water tank provided, although it is advisable to bring your own drinking water. If using the tanks water, make sure you treat it before use (boil for at least 15 minutes).
There are a couple of great walking trails that start at the day use area.
Lyrebird Falls Walk
A 2km return, grade 4 (medium difficulty) walk that traverses open forest with eucalypts, wattles and grass trees. Keep an ear and eye out for Lyrebirds.
Boundary Falls Walk
This is a short, steep walk (stairs), down to the Boundary Waterfall.

Boundary Falls campground is in Gibraltar Range National Park. To get there:
From Glen Innes, drive 63km east towards Grafton along the Gwydir Highway.
From Grafton, drive 97km west towards Glen Innes along the Gwydir Highway.
The campground is located a short distance of the main road and is well sign-posted
