A quiet and very attractive campground in Guy Fawkes River National Park with a small creek and walking trails.
Last time I was here was a few years ago after finishing a few days hike with a friend down the bicentennial trail through the valley below. The walk ended climbing out of the valley and up Lucifers Thumb trail and out at the campsite.
Enjoyed a great bacon and egg breakfast my friend cooked up on the wood barbecues, most appreciated at the time.
He recently stayed here again overnight and said he had the place almost completely to himself.
There are picnic tables, fireplace/barbecues, long drop toilets and nice grassed level sites with shade.
The small creek near the campground is not really deep enough for swimming but fine for a splash (or to cool your feet after a long walk). Not suitable for drinking unless treated first.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
The access road to the campground has seen little maintenance recently and is a little chopped up. There are also some steep sections, 4wd (even a CRV would do) probably your best option.
