Suitable for car based camping, near the Big River in the Upper Big River State Forest in Victoria
This is a basic bush camp with fire places but no toilets. Being near the river it is a good spot to base for fishing (or swimming in warmer weather).
It is near the more popular Big River Camp and is usually less busy that the bigger camp areas.
There are plenty of shady spots or open areas depending on your preference.
Thanks to Peter for the following updates.
A pleasant, green, small, level, grassed clearing by the bubbling Arnold Creek. Secluded by forest, although only 100m from the road junction. Well shaded by Blackwood and Mountain Ash with an understory of Tea-tree and tree fern, surrounded by Mountain Ash and Peppermint forest.
Rated 4.3/5
