A pleasant, small, short grassed, gently sloping clearing on a ridge nose above the road and the small Traralgon Creek.

Well shaded by tall white trunked Mountain Ash, wattles and an old Cyprus pine. Surrounded by steep hills, lush green forest, tree ferns and pines.

Wrens, whipbirds and kookaburras are common. Site of the Le Roy school.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Access from Traralgon [A1]: South 13k on Traralgon Creek Rd, keep right (south) 12.4k at the Balook Rd junction still on the Traralgon Creek Rd (5.9k gravel, narrow, twisty), up short access track (gravel, narrow) on right just before the 4th bridge (Hogg Bridge) and Y junction.
