Bush camping on flats near the little Acheron River.
Located in a small clearing surrounded by lush forest. Well shaded by white trunked Manna Gum, Mountain Ash and a few Peppermint with a dense understory of wattles and ferns.
The site may be muddy or wheel rutted.
Rated 3.7/5
Located on the Bicentennial Horse Trail.
The Acheron Way is a beautiful 38k forest drive over the Great Dividing Range, a good gravel road (narrow and twisty, well graded but not recommended for caravans or large rigs).
