A pleasant, large, level grassed site shaded by large Manna Gums.

Backed by dry forest and facing pine plantations, by First Creek.

Wallabies are common, birds (kookaburras, wrens, etc) plentiful. Open to an occasionally used through road.

Horse riding is permitted here, provided you don't ride on the walking tacks.

Getting there

from Ballarat: West 44k on the Western Fwy & Hwy [M8 & A8] to Beaufort, right (north) 9k on the Beaufort-Amphitheatre Rd to Raglin, left (north-west) 9.5k on the Beaufort-Elmhurst Rd (1.3k gravel), on the left 600m after entering the Forest.
