A relatively large clearing (an old hut site) providing a pleasant, green, level, grassed (wallaby mown), riverside circuit.
Shaded on the edges by Peppermint, Manna Gum, Blackwood and wattles.

This campsite is in Alpine National Park
A stunning alpine national park made up of grassy plains and impressive escarpments and mountains.
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
From Mansfield [B320]: East 21k on the Mount Buller Rd [C320] through Merrijig, right (south) 18k on the Howqua Hills Rd (gravel) to Sheepyard Flat, cross the Howqua River (road now called Brocks) a further 11k, left down steep, narrow gravel track 600m to small flat and walk-in camps, right over small rocky ford 60m.
