A secluded bush camp well off main roads by the headwaters of the small Big River.
Dispersed level sites, well shaded and separated by Tea-tree and Peppermint Gum, backed by steep forested slopes. The flats may flood and the black silt can be sticky if wet.
Rated 4.1/5
Wrens, tree climbers and kookaburras are common.
Well away from the other Upper Big River camps, the Snowy Road flats are popular with 4-wheel drivers.
