A small gravelled parking and grassed picnic area by the Thurra River surrounded by dense State Forest, open to the Drummer forest road.
Level and well shaded by Manna Gum, Silvertop and Peppermint with a dense understudy of young gums and casuarina. Convenient overnight stop.
Facilities are new, including a shelter with a gas BBQ (free).
