Lake Bolac Rest Area Campground

A small, level rest area 200m off highway overlooking Lake Bolac with shaded, grassed areas under a plantation of Manna Gum.
Bush camping without facilities but with more privacy is possible by following the gravelled track south-west around the lake (behind the cemetery).
One of the better rest areas (especially for the Western Plains) and an alternative to Lake reserves for overnight stops.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
Off the Glenelg Hwy [B160] 2.5k east of Lake Bolac town, by the north shore of the Lake.
