An informal camp in the clearing around the fire tower.
A rather open ridge top with excellent views.
Rough grassed (occasionally slashed) generally level areas, some shaded by large blackwood and wattles and Mountain Ash, surrounded by lush, wet sclerophyll forest and replantings.
A little difficult to get across the road gutter to the level picnic area.
Pit toilet, dam water, dogs on lead, picnic bench.
