After a short walk from your car you really will feel as though you are in the middle of wild river country.
This spot really does have it all, beautiful lush forest alive with wildlife, birds and much more. You have the choice of taking a dip in the calm waterholes or the Nymboida river. Go canoeing along this beautiful river (don't forget the fishing rod) and you have the chance to see some history from the local Gumbaynggirr people, you may even be able to spot some evidence of scarred trees where they have carved out a canoe.
Alternatively for the more adventuress there is also some white water for rafting. There are guided tours available via Coffs Coast Visitor Centre on 1300 369070 or (02) 6648 4990. As night falls you might be able to see some of the residents such as sugar gliders, spotted quolls and bettongs.
