A well established and maintained campground in the spectacular Springbrook National Park, near the Gold Coast.
The campground has defined sites suitable for tent based camping (numbers 5-11), camper trailers and small campers (numbers 1-4). It is not suitable for large vans.
There is not a lot of shade at this campground.
There are sheltered cooking/picnic areas with electric barbecues, and excellent well maintained facilities.
Open fires are not permitted, so you will need to bring your fuel stove, and/or use the electric barbecues provided.
There is a short walking track that leads to Purling Brook Falls, which is must see. There is a map of the walking trails in Springbrook National Park here.

Only about 100km south from Brisbane and near the Gold Coast, this National Park offers a mix of open eucalypt forest, rainforest and impressive water falls.
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
The campground is accessed from Carricks Road, off Springbrook Road, about 37km south from Nerang.
