This is a large, mostly level campground at the top of the hill with excellent views.
The surrounding bush and granit makesfor some interesting exploring and the nearby picnic area is a great spot to stop for lunch if you are only here for a day.
There are picnic tables with shelters, and wood fired barbecues (bring your own wood, collection is strictly prohibited in National Parks).

There is a self service registration desk at the entrance to the park.

No bookings are required for Bald Hill, but you will need to register to camp on your way in to the park. The campground is usually fairly quiet and apart from school holidays, you shouldn't have a problem finding a spot.

Well known for its white water river, this National Park also has some beautiful walks and scenery.
This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
Bald Hill Campground is at the end of Govenors Drive off Avon Valley Road. There is a map on the self registration desk and most roads in the park are well signed.
All roads in Avon Valley National Park are unsealed, however are fine for 2wd vehicles in good weather. They can be closed after a lot of rain when they become very slippery.
